53/365 - My Little Chicky Babe

Taken with my pocket camera. I'm beginning to think that I shouldn't use it anymore. It just doesn't take good photos. This one was about the best of a bunch of photos I took. Most of the others are a bit blurry and I have no idea why. I'm often not happy with photos taken with my P&S.
Oh well, there's always the iPhone in emergencies.

50/365 - The Car Wash

He LOVES washing the car.
He's not particularly thorough though and he always wants to use the high pressure hose.
There's NO WAY that's going to happen.

ps. Lindz was right! That last photo was the underneath of a mushroom.
Great guesses from everyone though!

43/365 - Brunswick St, Fitzroy

SOOC

A most interesting street in inner city Melbourne. I love it!
This shot is taken facing the city. Not that you can see any of it from this angle.
I love Melbourne!

33/365 - A Winter Tree

I know, I know. I am DAYS behind in my 365. I have a really good reason for that. I was sick. Just a plain old, run of the mill cold, but it knocked me for a six. I don't get sick very often, but every few years I catch a bug and it lays me flat on my back for a few days. Wasn't much fun, let me tell you. I even missed out on going to the air show...and seeing my Dad!

Anyway, I'm finally on the mend and now my computer has crashed. I'm using hubby's at the moment. He'll fix mine tonight.
I'm totally cheating with this photo. I took it months ago. I haven't picked up the camera since last week so don't have any new pics, so I thought I'd source something from hubby's photo archives.

This photo is SOOC and I took it through the windscreen with my P&S. It's so blue because I took it through that blue strip at the top of the windscreen.
I drive under this tree four times a day to do the school run. It's full of leaves at the moment that have just started to change colour. It's so pretty. In a few weeks it will be dropping it's leaves and then it will look like this again.

31/365 - Coffee Bean Spouts

This is not a fabulous photo. It was taken on my iPhone, but I had to show you cos those spouts were so shiny and golden. As I was admiring them and taking the photo, the cafe owner walked past and told me that he had only installed them a few weeks ago. They are all the way from Germany.
Of course they are, Germany makes high quality everything!

25/365 - Bad Photo Friday

I just can't seem to get this photo to do anything for me. I like it, but I don't. So, I'm declaring that Friday's on Teacups and Graffiti shall be known as, Bad Photo Friday! I thought of calling it, Crap Photo Friday, but I thought we could do without the common language.
I really hope I remember to do this again next Friday.

I have taken WAY badder photos this week, but I'm choosing this one. I don't want to show off too much on the first day.

'Ave a good weekend and don't forget the Aerogard!

22/365 - 1000 Steps

Cross processed and boosted colour

I took this on my iPhone today during the workout of workouts. The famous 1000 steps at Ferntree Gully. If you want to find out how unfit you really are, try this. It's hard and it hurts, but you feel so good when you've finished.

18/365 - Random Door

Cross processed with Picnik

I don't mind taking the odd photo of an interesting door. This one caught my eye as I passed by because of the bright green next to the bright blue of the wall.
A lady passing by kindly offered to take a photo of me with the door. I of course declined. I mentioned that I just like taking random photos. Funny how doing a 365 makes you do that.

Hope you're all having a great weekend.

11/365 - Old School

Edited in Picnik with the sepia effect

It's quite unusual for me not to have a smidge of time in my day to at least get on the computer quickly, but yesterday there was NO time at all. I was on the go from the moment I got up to the moment I finally fell into bed late last night. Hence no 365 photo yesterday. So I'll have to do two today.
I spent yesterday with one of my besties scouring op shops, having coffee and just hanging out. We hadn't seen each other in a year! Was the best fun EVER!
We dropped into the Chapel St Bazaar for a look. We didn't know where to look first! It is jam packed with so much awesome, vintage stuff!
The above photo is one of the very few photos I took yesterday. Taken on my p&s. Reminds me of when I was in Grade 1. Back in the days of the school port. Love it!
