61/365 - Make A Wish

These are cool!
I've seen a few macro's of these in the blogosphere and each one is magical.

I cannot for the life of me remember what they are called.
Can you help me out?

This is a stunning photo!! You have captured every detail! We call them dandelion clocks, but I believe they have many different names.

This is awesome!!!!! Lovely picture of a dandelion clock. I just got caught up on all the photos I missed. They're all good, but my favorites are the car wash, the bottlebrush, the macro mushroom and the toadstool. Great pics, Ky!

Dandelion clocks is new to me. I've only known them as dandelion seed heads. but whatever a person wishes to call them, I call your photo - perfection.

In England we call these dandelion clocks and my four year old likes nothing better than to pick and blow them to count the time. This is a stunning picture, you make the humble dandelion look quite majestic!

Siena just calls these 'puff balls'

Light seems to shine from the dandelion itself! Now I wonder whether I should abort my plans to upgrade to a dslr when a p+s can do this too.
