41/365 - Leafless Tree

I wish I hadn't chopped off the top of this tree. I was actually trying to capture a shot of the cockatoos underneath it, but when I uploaded this photo to the computer I thought the tree was way cooler.

Maybe I should have saved this for Bad Photo Friday.

39/365 - Blue Stone Church

I went to church this morning. This is not my church. This church is way, way, way prettier than my church building. I have a thing for churches. Old ones I mean.

What I don't like, is taking photos on an overcast day. I know that it disperses the light evenly, but I just don't like the lighting it creates. Give me a sunny day anytime for taking photos. It's just more interesting!

This photo shows only a small part of a wall of faces. Most of them are really creepy. Well I think they are anyway. I'm guessing that they are an art project done by school kids.

The smiley face in the middle caught my attention though. I kinda like him. I reckon he's the happiest face there.

This is a bad photo, not because of the subjects, but because of the framing.

It's titled 'My Dorian Gray's Portrait'.

I just love it!

 There's a different picture either side so I can turn it when I wish to have the other picture on the wall.

I haven't read the book or seen the movie, Dorian Gray. Have you?

34/365 - Crema

I have been a little MIA lately.

I just haven't had ANY desire to be in blogland of late. It all started when my computer crashed. Hubby has fixed it for me, but it's not working as well as I'd like it to be and that's a bit of a turn off.

Time for a new computer me thinks. Hint, hint honey.

I am of course, way behind on my 365. I have no intention of playing catch ups, but I will just pick up where I left off. Hope that's ok with y'all.

I'm also way behind in my blog reading. I don't have the time to play catch ups on that too, so you'll just have to bare with me on my commenting on your fab photos. I'll get there eventually.

Today's pick is a macro of the crema on my flat white coffee. Just think, every single coffee ever made looks different. No two are the exactly the same. Just like snow flakes.

33/365 - A Winter Tree

I know, I know. I am DAYS behind in my 365. I have a really good reason for that. I was sick. Just a plain old, run of the mill cold, but it knocked me for a six. I don't get sick very often, but every few years I catch a bug and it lays me flat on my back for a few days. Wasn't much fun, let me tell you. I even missed out on going to the air show...and seeing my Dad!

Anyway, I'm finally on the mend and now my computer has crashed. I'm using hubby's at the moment. He'll fix mine tonight.

I'm totally cheating with this photo. I took it months ago. I haven't picked up the camera since last week so don't have any new pics, so I thought I'd source something from hubby's photo archives.

This photo is SOOC and I took it through the windscreen with my P&S. It's so blue because I took it through that blue strip at the top of the windscreen.

I drive under this tree four times a day to do the school run. It's full of leaves at the moment that have just started to change colour. It's so pretty. In a few weeks it will be dropping it's leaves and then it will look like this again.

32/365 - Bad Photo Friday - Creepy Kewpie

I remembered!

 Fridays are now the day of the week that I put up a shocker of a photo.

This is my shocker for the week.

It kinda creeps me out, and the places that the city smog has settled is rather, er, questionable.

Found on Brunswick St, Fitzroy above a bar of some sort.

Anyways, I'm off to rest. I'm desperately fighting off a bad cold before Sunday. Am supposed to be going to an air show. Great photo op! Really don't want to miss out on that, but if I'm aching as much then as I am now, I'll have to skip it.

31/365 - Coffee Bean Spouts

This is not a fabulous photo. It was taken on my iPhone, but I had to show you cos those spouts were so shiny and golden. As I was admiring them and taking the photo, the cafe owner walked past and told me that he had only installed them a few weeks ago. They are all the way from Germany.

Of course they are, Germany makes high quality everything!

29/365 - Lizard and Alien

Yes, I'm cheating. I took this on Saturday night in Fitzroy. It's a bizarro piece of graffiti art, but it made me laugh the second I laid eyes on it. I don't know why I find it funny, but I do.

I think I should have taken the photo with all of the lizard in the picture, but I didn't and I can't remember why. It was for a good reason, I'm sure.
